ARK Initiativeの価値観と私のキャリアを結びつける3つのポイントがあります：国際性、異文化性、学際性。 ボンでドイツ語と日本語のバイリンガルとして育ったことで、私の進むべき道は早くから準備されていました。 ハイデルベルクのルプレヒト・カールス大学で自然言語処理を専攻し、学士号は "Using Graph-Based Local Coherence for Document-Level MT Decoding"、 修士号は "Ranking-based Reference-free Evaluation of Timeline Summarization Systems"の卒論で取得しました。 副専攻の心理学では、消費者心理学と行動経済学の分野を中心に学びました。このようにして得た知識は、市場を意識した活動の中で実を結ぶことになりました。 しかし、その間には、東京の上智大学に1年間留学し、日本語学、翻訳学、政治学の分野で深い知識を得ることができました。

在学中に、国連ボランティア計画でのインターンシップを通じて、早くから国際的な仕事を経験することができました。 その後、東京の国立情報学研究所でインターンシップを経験しました。 さらに、2015年からは、以下の機関でいくつかの国際的・学際的研究プロジェクトに参加しています：

私の主な関心は、研究結果を応用志向で適用することです。バックグラウンドは、自然言語処理（特に機械翻訳、同一指向解決、ネットワーク分析）、 心理学（消費者心理学、行動経済学）、デジタル教育の分野でのデータベースやアプリの設計などです。 その経験を生かして、世界の文化を伝えるARK Initiativeの活動に貢献したいと考えています。
